As people are saying it's too far to walk, how about turning the area into a road block with cars instead? Clog it completely in all directions to the roundabout and turn engines off so traffic can't get through and nobody can get to the game.

This. I've read about marches/protests. Police are fine until you start blocking traffic (or obviously any sort of criminal behaviour)

Are there no CCTV cameras in the area?

It's illegal under The Highways Act.

The protest, to be a success, will need to be public i.e. time and dates. The police will be there. I've no doubt about it.

Count me in. Probably my old man too. But if it’s the same measly turnout as last time then I’m going straight back home! Maybe revise start location? Perhaps from Arena Tesco

If it's congested with traffic, who can tell whose fault it is. Police can't arrest you for being in a traffic jam.

Any protest needs to be more than just some of our fans giving the London w@$p$ a round of applause, then having it shown on Midlands today.

Sorry but I am a NOPM.

Not one protest more had enough only gets slagged off particularly on here.
Hope it goes well.

How are the police going to get there and how do they decide who is part of the protest and who is genuinely stuck in the traffic? Surely everyone they ask is out shopping

Sky Blue flares in the ground. Just the rumour of it happening will mean they have to put on more security staff. Costs Wasps money

Absolutely spot on. It won't work. It's illegal. Stop them from parking. Hugely inconvenient. Perfectly legal. Minimal effort, maximum effect.

They’ll also put a stop on a lot of free tickets. They’ll be on this thread already and be wary of anything happening

Free tickets wouldn't work anyway, we'd all end up in pockets all round the ground.

Yeah...

If anyone did want to go inside, in a group they can buy wherever and arrange a section to meet in during the game...

Although, that being said, I'd rather it be inclusive so as not to divide...free tickets or not, understandably, some feel too strongly about stepping foot into a Wasps game.

That in itself would be a positive thing. The whole idea of free tickets is to suck in those tempted to go. Put an end to free tickets and you cut off them dragging in more support.

Thought i read that most free tickets were in the one stand (the one where they have to give money to the Higgs charity a percentage of sales).

They can't if it's against Leicester and sold out.

They also probably can't if stewards decide to enforce where people sit, in the right away. And of course they would for something like this.

Now that Saracens are relegated I would have thought some wasps fans won't be bothered about going to what would have been the 'must win' games. as they are all dead rubbers

It's a shame a lot of you on here couldn't be bothered to protest a few years ago when sisu moved us the 1st time.
It's to little to late.

Any arranging of a protest should be done on a private members only area of the forum, ideally where admin have to approve member requests to join the sub forum.

I thought that but wouldn't that dwindle numbers? Or a private area to arrange finer detail but dates, times and places put public?

Plenty to think about here.

Rubbish. We are now here in this moment dealing with the situation as it is. This here is one of the problems of this mess. Let’s look to the future and the present not the past.

Sometimes you do something cause it will change the situation, sometimes you do something for publicity and sometimes you do something cause you want to provide an opportunity for people to come together because there’s nothing else that can be done,

I don’t Get a sense of what we need to do against wasps at the moment. learning from the past though we need to identity a way of embarrassing wasps for accepting the councils request to stick to their guns on the indemnity

Well written letters doesn’t seem to work they ignore them. Our email doesn’t seem to work they can be polite and not answer.

I think upping the pressure through local media has some merit but how and who?

I think the arragement of finer details should be done in a kind of private area but make the date, time and place public - just my opinion, of course.

Pete, are you saying that the council asked Wasps to stick to their guns on the indemnity? When did that become known?
