Well something is strange as the training ground didn’t happen which suggested they weren’t planning to commit to being in Coventry long term.

Don’t they have to pay back a bond payment of £35M by 2022?

After they gave up on having it in Coventry, despite the promises of a new state of the art facility open to the public when they arrived, it was supposed to be in Leamington piggy backing off another rugby club but I don't think they've even put in for planning permission.

Speaking of planning don't think they've made any progress with the hotel on car park c or the housing by Higgs - appreciate that's the owner not Wasps themselves but all adds to a picture that something isn't quite right.

I read on the drunkenwasps forum from a wasps fan who was apparently sitting next to a London Irish fan that the LI fan said their team was moving from the Madjeski (Reading FC) to another ground I think it was Brentford and that Wasps were rumoured to be the next tenants at the Madjeski. Obviously I don’t know if it’s true.

The part about Irish moving to Brentford is true. Its a new stadium 2km from Wasps traditional home.

Some Wasps fans were hoping to move there when they were in Wycombe but Wasps owners told them rugby wouldn't be allowed there. Presume London Irish must be converting to another sport.

Firstly the Academy is not based in Oxfordshire but in Coventry ( opposite TGI’s ) Walsgrave.

secondly they will announce a new training ground by Ryton within 4 weeks.

Considering that they took advantage of our misfortune and couldn't care less about our existence or that of the city's actual rugby team, I genuinely hope they go out of business.

MK Dons geographically would be ideal, right coloured seating too. We can hope, but I suspect just a wish for rumour

the shitbags aren’t welcome and they’re failing in a city where people either despise them or at best are completely apathetic to them. The people of MK can have another franchise they can half heartedly watch in silence in an empty stadium
