Yes but who is actually behind the deal?
All will be made clear very soon.
anyway We will soon have a new ground so who cares.
shame we couldn't play with the commitment of a rugby team today.

I'm still here enjoying the post match experience
There is no real concern here
The stalwarts are Blue. and White through and through
Seems they see no threat to their Club
Anyway back to the Guiness and live music

No, because Wasps have been dragged away to oblivion, and a higher league place has been bought by a Coventry club rather than earned.

Sorry but my question was about the football club only. I have absolutely no interest in rugby.

The answer is still no for the reasons I have given.

You'd also be encouraging the purchase of the football club by an entity willing to move a sporting team wherever they felt like.

Thought that sisu were being made to pick up the legal tab

Plus the Higgs charity will put aside a set amount per annum to be used for charitable causes, it's unlikely they would have lowered that because of the court case, they'd more likely used reserves.

For the JR, not the Higgs case. The judge didn't rule in favour of either party in the Higgs case so both party was declared by the judge to be liable for their own cost. You may well have forgotten but a certain someone also tried to spin that into how wonderful JS was for not claiming costs against Higgs despite the judge saying not five minutes before that she couldn't.

I don't know the inns and outs of Higgs finances like you seem to but I have trouble believing that if they do carry a reserve that it's there on the off chance that they get into a legal wrangling with a Cayman Islands based hedge fund. I would imagine it's there for a more constructive purpose.

This is good for Coventry but I guess the downside is for existing Wasps fans.
Not sure if the majority of Wasps fans are in London or whether they are another Man U with fans from everywhere.
They are playing at someone else's ground nearer to Oxford than Central London so who knows.

Remind me of who took who to court in this scenario?

(And the counter claim out of order would never have been out forward had the original claim not been made)

Am I allowed to use that same logic to demonstrate how SISU cost the club 20 points? After all SISU called the administrator in for a debt they owed themselves and cost us 10 points and the only reason ACL could reject the CVA was because SISU called the administrator in in the first place. So using your own logic ACL never ever cost us a single point whereas SISU clearly cost us the whole 20. I assume you agree whole heartedly.

You can do if you want. Who was it who applied to put us in administration first and would have done the deed 24 hrs later had sisu not reacted and got in first?

http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/n...y_administration_statement_787428/index.shtml

But this is just going round and round in circles.

The fact is sisu didn't force Higgs to the crown court like you suggested (I am not sticking up for sisu, it's the taking money of poor children angle). They didn't pay the £29k because they didn't feel they were to blame for talks stopping, Higgs wanted the £29k, the judge determined that all parties lost appetite for a deal therefore sisu were not liable for the £29k.

That worked out well for us didn't it. All hail SISU the CCFC saviours. Saved us from a fate worse than administration by putting us in administration and we come out the other side with no debt what so ever. Wait that last bits not right. Still it was definitely easier than paying Higgs £ 5.5m for half of ACL after all it's worthless and nobody else would ever be interested in a stake of ACL. Ooops, I seem to have gone off topic at the end there. Wait that last bits not right either. SISU's master plan, pure genius.

On your edit. The SISU counter claim was just high enough to take the case from county to crown court so I don't know how you come to the conclusion you have.

No not really, it's turned out shit, it would have still probably still turned out shit had ACL chosen the administrator....

...oh well at least we're not tied in to a contract with another 42 years at £1.3m per annum.

You seem to have forgotten that TF shook on a new deal only for JS to spit the dummy and take us down the admin route. So admin didn't really save us from the old rent. JS just didn't like the way TF had already got us out of it and came up with a different plan. So even the thin thread you're clinging to to try and polish the turd that was our administration is misnomer.

You do know and remember, but seem to be trying to twist the truth to make SISU sound better. I don't understand why you do it because SISU are not our club. SISU don't own our club. They run it for their investors. And they don't care about any of us supporters.

But here we go yet again. There was an agreement between Higgs and SISU that if the sale didn't go through SISU would pay 29k towards the Higgs legal fees. It fell through. We all know why as well. Higgs took legal advice. They were advised to take legal action. And being a charity they had no choice but to take legal action. But SISU being SISU welcomed the legal action. They wasted a lot of our clubs money so they didn't have to pay just the 29k as agreed. And counter sued for 290k which was a piss take. And it seems like they did it just to try and distress Higgs even more.

So what excuse do you have ready for them continuing the litigation instead of concentrating of securing the Ricoh long term?

We know that SISU won't part with a bean unless there's serious potential to make money for investors. The supporters wishes are also very low on the agenda.

How much value then would the leasehold of the Ricoh add to the value of ccfc?

I'm trying to think in SISU terms as I'm genuinely worried they won't respond in any way to the possible wasps move.
