Would it basicly be players and staff from across the teams. would netball be involved ?

The Telegraph mentions Wasps Holdings is the holding company for Wasps Men, Wasps Ladies, Wasps Netball, the associated coaching and support teams, and the respective Academies and Pathways so I'm guessing all of them.

Were Arena Coventry Limited and IEC Experience Limited not part of Wasps Holdings?

Ran by a 3rd party isn't it. What might explain that

Yeah netball has gone too I believe.

Mens, Women and Netball squads could easily account for 80 players minimum I'd imagine?

You only have to take a look at their Website (while it’s still up) to see how many coaches and fitness people they have/had. Ridiculous . Like an NFL team.

I feel bad for the people who've been made redundant, apart from the netball team who would take an age to clear their training stuff when we've clearly got the hall from half past.

The BBC are indicating that the new notice of intention for for the arena is to allow the council to step in and keep the CBS operational.

If someone is looking to buy it to then buy the club then we're in dreamland.

If someone is just looking to buy it as an events space and keep us as a commercial tenant then we could be stuck with sisu forever.

Worst case scenario is someone buys the Arena and we continue to rent, with Sisu as owners.

This, to me, is still preferable to having to bow down to Wasps as landlords with those f*&king Wasps signs up at the Arena. All depending on who the new landlords would be to be fair but it's no longer Wasps. Regardless of how the future pans out, I'm a little happier today at the fact we don't have parasite Rugby landlords.

Yeh agreed, even that not ideal scenario is better than having the parasites as landlords. Need to get those disgusting badges down ASAP.

So what does this mean for the arena

I assume the arena and wasps club are owned by the same umbrella company and it's only the rugby side that have placed into admin. Does this means the owners just aren't interested in the rugby side and will solely run the arena, maybe they want to go down the events management route only instead and now with the rugby Club out the way and not sapping money out of the owners, they can concentrate on the arena side business?

Were Wasps were just a pawn from the owners to get there hands on the arena this whole time?

There is a real opportunity here. Let's hope our owners don't mess it up trying to be clever.

I think the chances of Sisu owning the Arena are less than 5% unfortunately.

It'll be a sight more than eighty, unless they've been shipping out contracts at a rate of knots just recently - and I can't see that.

Bigger benefit is not having the pitch fucked up through winter period, especially with a extra games to play in coming weeks/months

We're short of central defenders. A couple of 6'6"meatheads would do fine
