This is why I can't bring myself to celebrate you could ask why choose to go and work for a basket case club like wasps but a lot of clubs in the premiership could be in the same boat. I'm pleased that CCFC may finally get the arena they spent so much time effort and money to create though of course!

They showed no sympathy when our staff were put out of work when they forced us to play in Birmingham.

The speculation ends and the interesting stuff starts now........

Is there a buyer waiting in the wings for Wasps and/or ground and/or CCFC.

No one is buying wasps. They have made all staff redundant. They’re finished and will be liquidated.

The extension to the NOI on the arena means there is most likely a buyer. Let’s just hope for our sake we don’t end up as a tenant to a 3rd party again.

If the players have all been made redundant, that surely makes it even harder for them to re-start next season at all but a Rugby Lions type level?

It's always sad when people lose their livelyhood, they are just collateral damage unfortunately.

Depends if it is sold to someone like Ashley or an events management firm

Get your screwdrivers out boys, we’re heading to the CBS!

Edit - that wasn’t meant to sound like a euphemism, but it works too!

We’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is there’s no more games and we can’t refund your season ticket.
The good new. You can still buy merchandise from the club shop.

You’re still thinking about the bad news aren’t you.

Still suspicious of this ACL stuff and have a feeling the Council are about to shaft us again.

What would they be buying with Wasps other than the name now? All players have been made redundant so there's no team and no staff.

If someone is looking to buy it to then buy the club then we're in dreamland.

If someone is just looking to buy it as an events space and keep us as a commercial tenant then we could be stuck with sisu forever.

Think Richardson and Co knew months ago, Shame on them for stealing season ticket money and corporate boxes too. Wouldn't surprise me if the council were in on it as they wanted the Commonwealth Games to go ahead without a hitch

They are now out of contract and are free to sign for any club that will offer them a contract.

Easier said than done though as pro Rugby is even more of a financial basket case than football.

The online shop is operational and they are asking £90 for the home shirt of a team that has gone out of existence. No wonder they went bust with merchandise at that price.

Which parts have actually gone pop. If the arena is continuing to operate and its basically just the rugby club that have gone that seems a lot of staff.
