That Amy Toosh is having a mare on Twitter.

Basically, Cov fans are big bad bullies and Wasps fans were justified in their chortling at CCFCs situation.

"Why do people show glee at others misfortune"

The majority of the wasps fans remind me of the Africans burning man utd shirts.

It's also pretty fun the Rugby Press, how many of them really called it out or looked into it when they moved?

How many loved the free buffets they got and bigged it up?

So Richardson hands the training ground over to his mate, the playing staff have been kicked out and the codes changed.

Still think there’s a better opportunity for CCFC & CRFC to team up in some way.

Share some training facilities, (Uni?), club shop, CCFC to use the Butts for League Cup / Reserve games (few beers in Spon End / Chapelfields / Bottom of Earlsdon - match - curry after… I could do that)

If CRFC get to the top tier again they can use CBS for big games.

It may be that Wasps have built up a fan base over the years of local kids etc. CRFC need to get on to it about now.

im sure @Grendel has said for a while. Admin would be on Monday.

Also the whole thing around the training ground is a bit odd. Change of owner, change of name all within the last 6 months

I know exactly how you feel, but I also can't believe that SISU want to be here forever. I think that there's a price they'd sell at, I just don't know what it is.

I do wonder if the best way of prising the club out of SISU's hands is for an offer to include a bonus if the club does get promoted.

Whatever happens, I think that Wasps losing control of the stadium will turn out to be positive for us. Maybe I'm kidding myself, but suddenly there seems to be a lot more things in play.

Third time now so I’ll leave it if you don’t want to address it but you’ve spent a long time yourself claiming the deal was done well before then, it was certainly done at least a month or two prior I’d imagine.

The fact remains if we’d never left they’d never have come.

Don't believe that for a start. Didn't they meet a delegation from Wasps the previous year? It's been a long time now but I seem to remember us all arguing over that point too.

I agree. The deal structure could be say £20m now (pick figure to suit - they will probably want more) which covers value of players, golden share (if they can find it) etc and then an upside if promotion is achieved within X years.

Maybe I’m forever the optimist, however, ever since Wasps were obviously in big financial trouble I’ve felt this could be the best chance in recent years of someone coming in for us…assuming stadium is available

You said Wasps didn't move into the stadium that housed CCFC.

I literally pointed out they did.

And I literally conceded that in my first reply but said that the deal would’ve started before we were back.

I guess we'll see if the custodians of our club will do what is clearly best for the club, (as all custodians should) and sell it to a buyer who has half a chance of reuniting it with the stadium which was built for it.

They were being touted for a move to Cov back in 2012. The same time CCFC we’re signing head of terms to purchase the ground.

Exactly. The idea Wasps moved in while we were seriously at the Ricoh is nonsense. As soon as the club left and signalled it didn’t want the ground it was open season.

absolute nonsense. The council were dropping their trousers to wasps a year before we went to sixfields weren’t they? It was literally leaked in an email

Wasps moved in when we were at the Ricoh. It's a fact.

Are you after job there moving the goals?

Im with Shmmeee on this. The council are far from blameless but SISU opened the door with their actions. They tried to play hardball, wanting to pick up stadium for nothing/next to nothing and failed….got another chance now

Nobody has actually said SISU are blameless.

Just that Wasps moved here while CCFC played at the Ricoh.

Yeah, it's entirely possible to despise Wasps for turning up, despise CCC for arranging a sale to an out of town sports club... but also despise SISU for actions that left us without a home. That in itself would have been fine if their promised Plan A of a new ground had shown any sign of actually happening! As it is, they've managed to be negligent on that too, and managed to play fast and loose with our club on that, too!

But the council were trying to get Wasps through the door at the same time as negotiating to sell the lease to CCFC back in 2012. So it’s not as simple as saying SISU left the door open.

Which is still more than the amount of season tickets Wasps will sell next year
