McEvoy is a California-based businessman and investor with equity stakes in a diverse portfolio of business sectors. He founded San Diego-based mobile device distribution company, The Mobile Solution (TMS), in the late nineties.

McEvoy also has a large real estate holding company with property in numerous US states, and has equity positions with professional US sports teams – Colorado Rockies (Major League Baseball) and Nashville Predators (National Hockey League).

In addition, he has ownership in numerous restaurants, bars and music venues alongside interests in several electronic music promotions within the US.

Again, so what? He probably had some info but jumped the gun a bit and it didn't pan out.

His parents live across the road from me and he visits now and again. Did a really nice thing for my daughter once. Nice fella. Clearly a big supporter of the club and the city. Not going to get carried away by one iffy tweet or cast doubt on his integrity based on that alone. I don't have the energy to be that cynical.

He had no info as anyone who did would know the critical situation.

Apparently they owe 180K to the company that put up all the new signage.

Which means he can be wrong, and may be again on this occasion.
That doesn't mean he is but it would be naive to get too carried away.

Maybe the new owner will be able to invest into the technology that can turn Ryan Haynes into the next Gareth Bale.

One of the articles that was linked earlier in the thread said they kept getting consultants in regarding the refinancing knowing they had no hope of paying them. At what point would they be classed as trading insolently?

If we end up rid of sisu the second the arena becomes available it just shows what a shit show the council bringing wasps in was all along.

Not that we couldn't see it anyway.

I mean he’s certainly on the board at some companies and had a successful mobile phone business in the 90s, so we’re not even at Dhinsa levels yet. But of course his role isn’t ridiculous front man who promises Champions League on the front of the CET, it’s mysterious money man while Dawkins does the media dance before it almost certainly comes to nothing.

The amount of debt (not the loans of £60m) is I would suspect horrific. I’d love to see Martin reeves in the dock

So SISU will sell when the arena is sold to a big company, the council Wasp thing was one big game and experiment. Shouldn't the council leaders and executives face court action over this?

Sometimes it’s just down to timing. In answer to Gynns question, this is probably at SISUs peak. Nobody would’ve offered SISU anything worthwhile at the time Wasps bought the stadium so they wouldn’t have sold. This time it might be different as we’re a championship club with players worth a few quid. Let’s hope so anyway

So where has all this rumour/ takeover activity suddenly come from? We hear nothing for months or even years then……wham!! and there’s three groups trying to get a hold of everything, it can’t just be because it’s a full moon can it?

We're in the Championship with a stadium available and no council involvement.

Actually agree with you!!! Can you Adam and Eve it.

Also very sceptical of American owners (I know SISU are utter cocks, whom I do not trust one bit) but equally I don’t/wouldn’t trust American owners, so for me it would be out of the frying pan and into the fire.
