Facial hair growth for menopausal women is a touchy subject NW. Ann Lucas has been through enough.

It's quite obvious, Shmmeee, The bid which has the best chance of actually using the Arena for sport.

Which was what the Arena was actually designed for.

But they don’t own ACL?

So why are they so hands on if it's nothing to do with them? Why are all the bidders going through them?

If Reeves is on the phone dealing with the Arena, then they have the power to arrange this.

I was born in the old Leamington hospital. Once the brakes are in the champions league I’ll be ditching CCFC quicker than if you gave me a plastic wasps flag.

Im sure they are. But it’s not up to them who wins is it? And so far from what we can tell the only actual bidders are people who don’t want the club

I want to believe the club wouldn’t keep paying this extra money unless they knew safety was just around the corner but I guess they have no other choice really?

Who said they’re assessing bids?

What are you actually saying here? That CCC secretly own Wasps??

No? That ccc have a lot more involvement then you seem willing to want to acknowledge.

I have literally no idea what you’re claiming. Of course the council will be spoken to, but they’ve repeatedly said it’s up to the admin to resolve. What lever are you expecting them to pull exactly?

What do you think will happen? That CCC will force the administrator/Wasps to accept a worse bid because it hasn’t got Sisu in or something? Like what is it you’re so worried about?

Shmmeee, nobody would be talking about the council anymore if you didn’t pile in. Let the small bits of criticism or mentalism go and then people move on.

You centre the conversation on them and bring out further comments.

Yes, didn't ccc also say they have no say what goes on with ccfc and ACL but now they are right in the middle of it?

ACL isn't in admin yet so the bids won't be going to an admin, will it?

Yeah you said that when I said Hoffman was involved with the trust and wasps.

Going to argue about Wilson and doyle now for a bit though

So just to be clear. You believe CCC will pressure Wasps to not accept a bid that is in their best financial interest so as to scupper Sisu purely out of spite? Have I got that right?

Where have I said that?

I said they should be ensuring the football club is protected, whoever they sell to....

Everything seems to be going through ccc with this bidding stuff. Maybe they are just trying to get more interest?

Somebody even spoke to keys.

If the lease is purchased as an asset and needs to be transferred.

That suggests ACL sells lease to NEWCO, ACL then goes pop.

Will probably need council permission to reassign lease.

Course they do. All of this "nothing to do with them" has always been bollocks.

Reeves is straight in there when it comes to ccfc keeping ACL afloat isn't he

All piss taking aside, I see two possibilities here but am willing to be corrected:

1) ACL is bought as is and CCFC have a rental deal for the next 8 years so are safe.
2) ACL goes pop and the lease reverts to the council, who I think would be fucking mental to play silly buggers in the current climate.

There’s no reason not to allow Sisu to get the arena really. Last time the issue was that they wanted the freehold unencumbered and they wanted the debt gone IIRC. It seems they’ve only ever been willing to bid when it’s in admin which it never has been.
