That was my theory too. I don't see a reason why if it's 'only' admin we wouldn't be at the CBS on Tues. If liquidation though, all bets are off and the council have a big decision to make.

What's the longest ever thread? I remember that Pompey thread being a long one.

Is there an argument that our prospects for acquiring the ground increase if ACL go into liquidation? I barely understand the difference between the two.

Like a few of us have been saying; Even the most delusional W*sps fuck-pamphlet can’t possibly think staying in Coventry is a good plan.

I couldn’t give a shiny shit if they rise from the egg shaped grave, as long as they fuckoff somewhere else.

I know it’s late but we’ve now racked up 57 minutes without a single piece of hopelessly uninformed paranoid speculation. I’ll have to go to bed at this rate. Come on guys, we’re better than this.

Coventry City in trouble?

May have only played 4 matches but to have 1 point from them 4 isn't great. Backlog of fixtures to come, could a relegation battle beckon? What's the latest on their pitch does anyone know?
www.readytogo.net

If anyone needs a laugh, take a flick through this - It’s made their season bless them

We are their world now Newcastle are top 4 challengers

Well apparently, there is a rich Nigerian uncle who wishes to buy the arena. Just waiting for the cheque to go through, if that helps.

Going to be a busy day.
ACL and ACL2006 will go into admin in the afternoon.
Will stadium stay open?
CCFC looking at back up option, CCFC hopeful we will play at CBS tomorrow.
Once administrators appointed then talks happen to play at cbs tomorrow.
If liquidation then CCFC 10 year lease doesn’t exist. Liquidation is unlikely.
Unclear where wasps want to play if successful takeover happens. Only playing side and academy being bid for.
Jan transfer window will be unaffected by the transfer embargo. Payments will be sorted,

from Gilbert interview

BUSY DAY
ACL Admin early pm?
CCFC Alt venues
SBIC office may need to close. Plans in place.
NOBODY knows. Admin? New owner unlikely
arena opening tomorrow
Liquidation? CCFC lease would be torn up.
Wasps RFC TAKOVER ACCEPTED. FORMER PLAYERS. DOES NOT INVOLVE STADIUM.
Hmrc. Setback. Transfer embargo. Cash flow issues. Money owed. Payment plan. Debt to be cleared by Dec. statement on CCFC website.

Interview now with a matchday steward at acl.

She has been told nothing.
I heard on news acl might go down. I was shocked.
Acl have said nothing to staff they’re in dark.
This should have been handled better by acl as a business. No comms.
I don’t like stewarding football. It dangerous. Fans bring bottles and flares. Rugby much better. Go Wasps!

Breaking news; Just finished breakfast and son needs a lift to school. Then off to Sports Direct to buy some boots for the all weather pitch for walking football this evening (swore I'd never play the game). All happening today.

Updates to follow....

That steward was very anti football and kept saying go wasps.. have to say rubbish she’s been kept in the dark, but being anti football was abit of a daft approach to take…

Report back how it goes I’m still playing over 45s and over 35s. Got a scan on my hips this week…suspected arthritis…walking football may be the answer!

To be honest stewards all seem to have a Napoleon complex wherever you go. Easier to monitor toffs drinking real ale from each other’s arses then it is football fans

Here’s another thing - if wasps are tenants, is there anyway we can make them use the shit changing room? Like can we get the with the pitch back?

A marina in rural west Istanbul for me with a similar problem. Fired up our kit and found there's no internet on board and won't be any until tomorrow. Hard to explain why I'm hiding in the office hitting refresh on here and other sports sites waiting for news, other than just being a sad bastard

logically the better dressing room would either be shared so whoever is playing gets it or goes to the 'bigger' club who make more use of it.

we should certainly be asking that question. I can't imagine other championship rugby clubs have huge dressing rooms so shouldn't be a problem for them.

Those burly buggers need a bit more room than Jamie Allen.
