I don’t believe they would - but you could argue they would use the bowl as a large event bowlNEC - I don't get this NEC don't want the stadium part. It has an event at least 23 times a year on a regular basis for the next 8 years at least generating rent, footfall, contributions to overheads etc then a couple of major concerts a year. No one is asking them to run a football club.
Knocking the stadium part down is not an option it would cost 10s of millions and massive disruption around other site incomes
And they wonder why a lot of people in the city took a disliking to them.

Don’t disagree. However, I wouldn‘t want a refund playing some part in the demise of the club, rightly or wrongly. That’s the way I see it. I totally get the club’s owners have money but they don’t have the priceless emotional investment, do they?
