Nowt to do with the RFU. That's the Six Nations.
The RFU would do much, much worse.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the top guy at the RFU had a big pay rise & maybe bonuses despite reduced revenue because of less England games at Twickenham. There were calls for him to resign but I doubt if that will happen.

It's hard to understand what the function of executive pay and bonuses is.

Happy to throw the "landlord" bit in though, to make them seem like some kind of successful club fallen on hard times.

In 2014, the club then relocated to the Midlands, quickly becoming ground owners pariahs at the Ricoh Arena - and landlords to Coventry City, the club for from whom the stadium was built stolen.

Championship rugby given hope of TV rights if London Irish and Wasps return

Premier Sports are 'interested' in bringing the second division to TV audiences
inews.co.uk

Are Rugby fans really so fickle that they'll watch Championship Rugby on TV if the names "Wasps" and "Irish" are in it?

tbf its Premier Sports, they show some absolute shite and a lot of the sports they have the rights to actually pay to have it on there on the basis that it increases the amount they can generate in sponsorship.

They have plans for a dedicated rugby channel, which seems an odd move for a channel that seems to be constantly on the verge of going out of business and so badly run they struggle to make it through a live broadcast without technical problems, so will need to sign up anything they can get their hands on.

Just saw this article. I'm still dumbfounded that they're allowed to return with no financial repercussions or payments to those owed money, outside of rugby creditors.

It's like 'yeah, we'll look for our own and pay them but West Midlands Ambulance Service....f*&k em'.

It's an absolute disgrace.
