Saw on twitter that tickets for Wasps first two home games, against Saracens and Worcester, are £8 for adults. Assumed it was a mistake so checked on their website and they really are knocking them out that cheap. Are they that worried people won't turn up?

It’s just a feeling on my part but I think their season membership holders are going to be right down this year.

At £8 a ticket though I'd be worried for Cov RFC, the last thing they need is Wasps hovering up the casual rugby fan who might otherwise go to the Butts

I think the benefit Cov have is the city centre location.

Definitely a sign of desperation but the average rugby fan, casual Cov fan will certainly bite on this!

Some of our season ticket holders kick off when we have a community day. Imagine being a season ticket holder there when you can pick up match tickets in any local bin.

Those ticket prices are for the premiership cup I think. That is usually a development squad competition for many teams

First league fixture isnt until end of october. Same day we play MK Don's

My relative told me the guys he works with that shamefully had season tickets with the little shits aren’t bothering this season as they think it’s going to be a struggle all season.

Really can't see that. I could be wrong but I'd have thought Cov RFC have the same feelings regards wasps as we do.

This is the Premiership Cup competition which is being played during the Rugby World Cup. Teams will be fielding fringe and academy players. Yes, they probably are worried fans will stay at home and watch the World Cup on TV instead.

Normally have a pre-season friendly at Ricoh and not having one this season. Pushing early bird tickets for all games as cheaper. Be interesting if they have a bad start as the big games are towards end of season

Wonder if the bullshit will continue when they announce their gates? Saying they had 14,000 when it’s clear to everyone when seeing the pics of their games there was no more than 6 to 7 thousand at best. I’ve even had a wasps supporter tell me the grounds empty and soulless most games.

I wish whoever they play against the best of luck, these people that go and watch them will lose interest if they keep losing

£105 for their new shirt if you want to put a name on it.

£50 for shorts

What a bunch of robbing bastards but if they throw in a flag all the idiots will be there buying them

Even in that somebody has to bring football into it they really do have an inferiority complex

Even got some of their fans defending it.

This morning there was one arguing on twitter that they don't give out loads of free tickets.

They really are brainwashed.

Yeah it was schools only give out free tickets as incentives to kids.

The email I got sent from the school says otherwise but apparently it didn't happen.

Made me laugh that the original point was that Wasps go into schools and give out tickets and he claimed everyone was wrong and his evidence was that Wasps had been in to his school and given out tickets!

A pair of scissors and 10 minutes in the shop you could force some reductions.

I wonder if you get full kit wankers in Rugby like you do in football?

Cov RFC kit launch sounded unusual....did I hear right on last nights phone in that it involved men in the new Rugby kit running around the City centre? I’d question whether homeless off their head on spice is the right target market.

£55 for Cov’s.... the away one looks nice.

The description made me smile.... the replica ones are not a tight fit like the match ones to provide a more relaxed and comfortable fit when going from the stand to the club house.

I’ve interpreted that as.... you will look a twat in a close fitting match one as it will rise up to approximately half way up your beer belly which is needed to accommodate the 6 pints of flat warm bitter you drink during the game!!

So I contacted the fca this week to ask for an update on their investigation into wasps reporting, which was all over the press back in April. As a google search confirms.

They tell me they aren’t investigating anything to do with it..

The Financial Conduct Authority? Why would they be investigating it? The complaint has nothing to do with financial services. I thought it was the European Commision that were investigating? As its EU state aid laws that they are investigating?
