Do you think it is right that SISU refuse to negotiate with CCC on taking over the Ricoh instead of Wasps after all the shit that they have put us through on trying to get the Ricoh?

I don't disagree. But Sisu have been "out Sisued" by the Council, which in my view is worse - Local Authorities should not behave in this manner (they are not alone in this by the way - Northamptonshire Counthy Council are exactly the same with their approach).

CCFC are the ones who have lost, and by that I mean the fans, not the owners (current and previous)

No I don't think it's right. But that doesn't excuse the other parties. They're all to blame on this. We heard that they were profitable, thriving without the club. What's the rush to sell?

Indeed, why sell. I think it is down to reducing costs on CCC re Officer time and court costs, lawyer time. ACL may well be functioning (just), but CCC simply down wish to support it anymore. It could be argued that the distress tactic worked; but I happen to think this is purely coincidence to be honest

I used to be very fussed about the Higgs. The one thing I really couldn't bear was that SISU seemed willing to stitch them up - a charity set up for the benefit of the city's children, ffs! However, they've decided to support something that's utterly immoral, the franchising of a another team. They could and should veto this deal right now, but they've been active participants in it.

At this point it's clear to me that they're as unprincipled as all of the other protagonists in this sorry saga. If they're happy to treat all this as just another business deal, then why should I feel any different. Whatever happens from this point forwards, if they lost every penny of the £6.5m it wouldn't trouble me in the slightest.

I take your point Monners, but in truth they are still going to have to go to court anyway.

All of this is undoubtedly a product of the way that SISU have chosen to do business, and of their very clear aim to distress ACL at every opportunity - but it still doesn't make the Council's actions right, imho.

I get your sentiment, but I'm not sure I agree. They are a charity and have other things to worry about than dealing with the sorry mess the last few years has brought them. They don't want to take the risks anymore and I can't blame them. Of course, we would prefer they took the moral high ground and pushed for CCFC to buy the stadium, but that means dealing with SISU all over again - where would that end up? Back in court, probably. They have a way out now and I can't blame them for taking it.
