I think he's saying that in his world it's only wrong if it's CCFC. Which is still wrong in itself. I'm sure you'd like it to be about SISU so you have the opportunity to talk about them but that's not what he said. To put it another way I'll use your favourite quote, ahem."where did he say it's only wrong if it is SISU? "

Ok I'll assume he was ok with the move we made

I do agree with the wrong in itself bit though!

Yes I am wumming a little I don't deny.
But what will happen will happen and we have no say or control over it.
I do think that this is potentially not a bad thing but its only a theory.
My theory is this could make things easier for the clubs future purchase of the Ricoh because it would be a straight forward sale with one entity.
Also I hope Sisu decide to offload the club !

My theory is that it will make it harder. Once wasps move up here permanently they won't be wanting to sell their shares as they will need all the money they can get to find losses and challenge leicester and challenge in Europe. For me whether sisu are here or not, this move will very likely snuff out us ever having a stake in the Ricoh for a lifetime.

Why would wasps ever want to sell it? It will make money for them and also makes their club worth more to potential investors/owners.

Conversely, it will make more less attractive to investors, we may not have had a shares but we had first buy option for Higgs half.

That quote just shows what a hypocrite you are.

I dont deny that Joy has been a disaster for the club, but you criticise her for doing the best for her investors, but then lavish gushing praise on the Council for doing the same and selling the stadium.

Just some random thoughts:

SISU have said absolutely nothing on this so far
It would appear that the Wasps things has been going on for a while at least.. You'd be surprised if SISU hadn't got wind of it until we all did
SISU won't let the JR go - even when it's plain to see they have no chance of winning.

So are they interlinked?

Is the JR appeal their way of potentially blocking this deal? Is the JR appeal a distraction whilst they are silent partners in the Wasps transaction?

Which is similar to my thoughts. But I would also add others, for instance is it a bluff for Wasps to get what they want elsewhere and for all CCFC supporters to get behind SISU getting the Ricoh? Before this happened the majority of us didn't want them to get it. That has suddenly changed.

I am not bothered what anyone's thoughts are on this matter to the answer to the next question. Is there anyone that would have believed that SISU would keep so quiet with something as big as this going on if they were not involved in some way?

Lol !!
I will wait for you to back up your statement with facts or posts to this effect regarding your council comment !
Why would I care about Coventry City Council ?
I come into the Ricoh watch a match then go back home to Luton !
Why am I a hypocrite the only people I dislike with a passion are the ones that are destroying our club at every turn and opportunity in the name of their investors !

You are a hypocrite because you don't care about franchise sport but constantly whined about the move to Sixfields. With your views expressed above why didn't you get a season ticket ?

ACL tried to sue Northampton town for doing the same thing they are now trying to achieve.

Your constant refusal to protest against this disgrace shows you to be as bad as Council Jack.

The club needs better supporters than you in the present crises.

Because it's not only SISU it's also ACL, Wasps and CCC. And "Astute" even likes the post! There's another . It seems franchising and moving sports teams around is bad unless it's ACL doing it. Unbelievable.

Read my post, it explains exactly why you are a hypocrite, but I didnt expect you would get it as you are a little thick arent you. As people would say, you are just one of the 'usual suspects' ramping up your love for the Council and ACL. (**use of usual; suspects is sarcastic but I thought I would need to explain that for you)

How are you enjoying the Luton games anyway John?

And how old are you, who still says 'lol' for f*cks sake ointlaugh:

You seem to have mellowed Grendel.

Now that the Sky Blues are back in Coventry. My biggest concern is losing the club. You may know I was totally against SISU taking the Sky Blues out of Coventry. I am now a season ticket holder having stayed away from Sixfields.

Where do you see this all going? What would be your ideal outcome? Mine is for this consortium to take over both Wasps and the Sky Blues.

edit: If the Wasps insist on alienating their fans. Also, my season ticket was purchased because I want to see city play in city.

Aren't Swansea the main tenants? I think there will be a little unrest when the seats are replaced with different colours and it's a Wasps branded stadium.

No one justified the move to Northampton. How are Sisu assisting Wasps? It's CCC/ACL who want to franchise a team.

So you were against CCFC playing games in Northampton but will be happy if a team is franchised and there is a benefit for us?

Would you be happy if we were the Coventry Wasps and playing in yellow and black?

You must be a better supporter than me you have been a consistent Sisu lover !
You have supported their every move and proved it. Fans like you with your cosy little chats sucking up to Timmy and Joy.Your support of Sisu breaking the lease even though there were better offers on the table proves this !
Ultimately fans like you supporting Sisu's actions buying sixfields season tickets have helped cause the position the club are in today !

Not a dedicated fan though. Not a season ticket holder and goes to a third of their home games !! ......... and plans to go to a few here.

I suspect that Wasps are targeting a new market here as there support at home 'in Wycombe' is not as big as their reputation.

So, as he's not a season ticket holder then his views don't really count and aren't as valid as someone who would be? Wasps should think a bit more then and parachute their team into a city where they'll get lots of support. What do you think?

What a hypocritical bunch you are.

I've tried several times to get on the record comment from CRC, Wasps and CCFC - neither wish to speak with us. I can't force them to comment or take a stance and, if they won't, how can we report it?

This Rugby game is as greedy as the rest. They go where the people with money go. High income supporters. A lot of people forget that Wasps play in Wycombe.

Well they ought to do some more background research, as they would move to a City with its own club, with a long proud history, and are moving to an area which is already dominated with supporters of two of the Country's biggest, most successful clubs, the Saints and the Tigers.

Why would anyone then go and support Wasps, currently a fairly unsuccessful mid table team, funnily enough who like CCFC are going to be saddled with debt fro a long time, when they have absolutely no reason to have an allegiance to them, when they is already enough choice in the local area.

If this is the only way of keeping the Sky Blues in Coventry then yes....Definately. What would you want? Lose our club to Northampton, Leicestershire or anywhere outside Coventry. The club will be dead. The Sixfields attendance figures prove this.
