Was Jan our toughest month? (3 Viewers)

I was just looking at our results since 1st Jan and we’ve played 7 games in Jan.

2 home games
5 away games (including Stoke cup)

That’s actually a very tough period. Yes we should have done better on the road.

This month in Feb we have 5 games:

3 home
2 away

Feels like we’ve got a chance to stabilise this month with the 3 home games and try and get some kind of result on the road.

10 points from 5 keeps us on 2ppg track.

The opportunity is still there, big decisions to be made in the remaining hours of the transfer window though. Oxford at home is also a pretty friendly fixture that should ensure we go into the Boro game still on top.

February definetly on paper could be a bounce back month

I can see us beating Oxford and stoke at home

Wba could be our first away win in ages

Think we lose to Sheffield utd

Leave us with mboro ina. Cup final. Just the sort tofnhsme to kick us back into title winning gear

Be positive

Thats how I’m viewing it. The bounce back month and have to take full advantage of 3 home fixtures and a dodgy WBA away.

Also if we beat Oxford we get a few days with a 3pt gap and it puts pressure on Boro ahead of their Monday night game

Not to mention derby might beat Ipswich before we kick off Vs Oxford

Top of the league, 5 of the next 8 games are at the CBS, including a '6 pointer' against Boro.

Ipswich next 4 league games are all away.

Hull and Ipswich still have the distraction of the FACup.

Time to reset for the home stretch and go again.

Hull have to play fellow top 6 chasers in Derby, Ipswich, Preston, Watford, Bristol, Millwall and go to the likes of SU. They might have a strong Feb but as a whole they not got an easy set of fixtures till the end of the season.

Much prefer the positivity its still all to play for and every team goes through a bad patch, admittedly ours feels like a long one. We can absolutely turn it around especially if we can get a strong signing or two over the line. But the fans need to get 100% behind the team and leave the negativity and frustration to one side. It we don’t go up, thats the time to ask questions.

What more motivation do the players need?

It's still in your hands, if you want to be a premier league player, win the next 16 games and you've done it

Players have got to take some responsibility as well as Lampard and the coaching staff
