As the title says... My favourite player of my lifetime, used to get excited as a young lad watching him.. Still remember his standing ovation at old Trafford after he scored a hat trick v man utd

Close to it for me.
Had everything. Strong, quick, skillful
Could score every type of goal.
If he hadn't had that period of injuries at Inter & Real his records would have been insane.

best striker I ever saw. Like the kid at school who was a bit bigger, faster and stronger than his peers and they couldn't get the ball off him.

Fantastic player. The best number 9 I've ever seen.
Still remember how he single-handedly destroyed Manchester United in the Champions League in 2003.
Admittedly it was against Barthez in goal. Not the best goal-keeper.
Another great striker was Romario, a different kind of number 9, but absolutely deadly anywhere near the box.
Some of the goals he scored were unbelievable.
In his own way, he was as good, if not better than Ronaldo.

thought about him but he was done at 28/29.
didn't have Ronaldo's pace or dribbling but had a better right foot and possibly in the air.

Saw a stat the other day that over 20% of his goals were after taking the ball around the keeper

Love to see a striker take it round the keeper, Robbie Keane was good at it when he came here but Bellamy was shit

Ronaldo was phenomenal, such an amazing talent, it's scary to think how could he actually could have been without his injuries, Bergkamp was the best prem player, such a classy player, he seemed to play in slow motion but had all the time in the world.
