Think you'll be hard pressed. If it's the one I'm thinking about they're going for about £3-400 on one site. I'll try and find it and you can show your wife what she's done!

Have seen it on ebay before. Went for in excess of £200 from memory.

I desperately want L size 83-86 home/away shirts (the umbro ones). Only have child size ones.

Try www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk, they normally have a couple on there, not cheap for an original though

I had a replica 87 shirt signed by the squad.left home a few years after and went back one day to collect some of my old clothes...my mum had kindly washed everything for me.she was really pleased that she'd managed to get " those nasty pen marks out of my cov top . I've just started speaking to her again.managed to get hold of another one at an auction....isn't the same though :-(

I have the white Isuzu away top if anyone's interested? Too small for me now. Size 46" - 48" chest. Average condition for its age. Going cheap.

Similar to this one...................

I've still got that one. Along with the home shirt from the same season, it was a little odd for them to include 'sky blues' in calligraphy on the arse.

I swear to god this is the hardest City shirt to get of them all, I have been trying for at least five years.

At some point we'll end up driving the price up on an eBay auction before some third party swoops and I'm stuck with my 1997 LCS shirt for comfort.

I've got my city subbuteo team from 82 looking resplendent in the Talbot T kit... It's a key part of my city display shelf

I sold mine on ebay about 2 months ago, it was the 87-88 one with the fa cup winners over the badge, the following season was the same shirt but had that bit missing. sold for £85, a good result for me.

As much as I'd like one, I couldn't justify that kind of price to myself, and I'm easily convinced normally.
