breaking news....Tim Fisher discusses interim rent deal at the Ricoh at CCLSC forum:
"There is a sense that a deal can be done and any perceived stumbling blocks can be overcome. If it was the will to do a deal then it was 100%/0% but skewed logic and local politics meant that the likelihood of achievement is reduced to say 70%/30%. The Club is looking beyond recent relationship challenges and be working hard to agree a deal with the Council and ACL for the overall betterment of Coventry City Football Club”
"theres a sense a deal can be done"
yet they havent actually sent the proposal to ACL ?

Can I ask you please TO STOP GETTING MY HOPES UP YOU INSENSITIVE GIT
Does that mean Sisu aren't appealing?
Do you mean Bradwell or Tim Fisher?
Tim says that the judgement was so damning in several areas that it can't be allowed to go unchallenged. And also that the club has no control over it somehow - can't understand his argument here but he is trying to say that it's not up to SISU/CCFC if they appeal or not, which sounds like a load of rubbish to me
not trying to get anyone's hopes up,in my opinion its more like 50/50 as sisu dont intend to give an inch on anything,so it will be down to acl/ccc to accecpt or not

the football league are vital in all this in my view if they stand up to sisu and the money is paid i think we will be back at ricoh if not who knows, sadly fishers view is ccfc wont have to pay £590 but he also thought they would win jr
So Fisher says both sides need to accept that situation is over yet they will be appealing. How can ACL accept the situation is over if SISU are still dragging them to court again?
I don't understand the logic of we lost so badly we have to appeal. Doesn't an appeal make more sense if its a close call and there's a chance the verdict might change. The best outcome for SISU here seems a slightly less damming verdict, how will that help anyone?
Have to assume when he says it's not the clubs decisions he is saying it is SISU / Sepalla who are insisting on continuing, nothing else makes sense as who else has any say?
No - Tim says that the judgement was so damning in several areas that it can't be allowed to go unchallenged. what was the date of the FL meeting when they were going to make a decision on the £590K, can't be far off now.
Wasn't it the 7th?
That's Thursday, we haven't had a bad news Thursday in a while.
