What's with all the negative posts at the minute ?

"Our squad is madeup of loans"
"Defence isn't good enough"
"Mowbray will be off soon"

And my personal favourite

"We won 4-3 but it was boring"

Can't we just all club together and enjoy the good times ? I think I speak for most when I say this is probably the most exciting season in recent years, we should have such a buzz around the place at the moment as opposed to waiting for it all to come crashing down ! I do understand after recent years it's easy to always look for the negative but as it stands, were a point off the top, playing some good football, have a good manager and a good bunch of lads that actually look like they want to be playing for the club and the fans.

I'm enjoying going to the pub (live in Norfolk) and other fans taking an interest and talking about our season for a change. I'm loving life as a Cov fan at the minute, I'm genuinely proud to call myself one.

Let's make this a season to remember and get some positivity installed amongst the fans

Who said that shite? It was one of the most entertaining games I've seen for a long time, be it City or a match on TV.

''Waiting for the bubble to burst..."

C'mon lads, let's deal with reality. Panicky speculation is understandable, but let's leave the flapping to Lee Burge.

I suppose we're accustomed to failure and hopes smashed to fuck, but that kind of pessimism from fans is nauseating.

There's cause for concern but you also have to look at where we are in the league.

The key thing now is how the squad responds. If we go on a decent mini-run of games then everything looks rosy. If we keep shipping goals and start dropping points then not so much.

The way we've started leaking goals is a concern to me. A lot of people seem to be assuming TM isn't trying to get anyone in, I suspect he is but isn't rushing and grabbing the first available player.

I'm not going to start worrying about who may or may not be here after January just yet. Lets get to January first and see if we are still in the mix for promotion before we start worrying about that.

I think that some are just expecting to get what they have always got and are not used to having something to cheer about. Cant blame them

I kind of get it with the dull thing. The match was great but once it had hit 4-2 it seemed to calm down as if everyone had accepted the result, with even the late penalty being that little bit too late to add real drama.

The problem is in recent years nay loads and feckin loads of years we have failed to deliver despite a promising start so a lot of people are preparing for the bump... lets hope they have a long long long time to wait

My perception and disappointment was that when we got to 2-0 we coasted
Iwanted to properly put them to the sword as a marker and message to the rest
As It was It suggests were open at the back.

These are legitimate concerns IMO, the defence has been horribly exposed in the absence of Johnson, and this has to be the priority if there is any more room to bring some new faces in.

The season has been brill so far, given that we've gone so long without threatening at the top end of the table this far into the season, I can't imagine there are any fans out there who aren't enjoying it. I guess it's in peoples nature to be pessimistic though, we've had it for too long.

My main concern is if we have a good enough gap between us and 7th by 2nd half of the season that let us really push for 2nd or play offs ill be delighted.

If anybody other than TM was in charge I would be feeling a little uneasy. But he has proved how astute he is in bringing new players in on a reasonably tight budget, both loanees and permanent signings.

He says he is hopeful of having a CB in by Saturday and RCC is hoping to be fit. All of a sudden the back four will look solid again once we shift Ricketss back to rb.

The following week Arma and Kent are back for the top of the table clash with Gillingham. We could be top of the table (and miles clear of 7th) by then.

I, for one, am enjoying every second of the ride this season.

A fair few users will be back on here if we start losing again, which is a shame as people should be the same win or lose.

Let's face it, the bubble burst when we got relegated to League 1. This season, for the first time, it looks like some much needed restoration work is being done on our club.

Now there is a long way to go to just get back to the Championship, let alone be competitive there. But I for one am just enjoying what we have achieved so far this season and believe we can, with a bit of luck, stay in and around the mix.

The cup exit was disappointing but I am sure they will pick themselves up for the next game and get a win. I would be a lot more comfortable if we had out loaners u till the end of the season so there is always going to be a nervousness around the Christmas period when they expire. We renew Armstrong and the world is rosy again
