Please don't shoot the messenger here, but just heard w***s are buying/have bought Brentford. Expecting to move into their ground and sell the Ricoh.
    Anyone else heard anything?

There were rumours floating about a few months back. Think it all came from someone at Brentford council making a comment about rugby clubs being interested and it was apparent from the number of clubs they talked about that Wasps were one of them, rightly or wrongly who knows.

Wasps were asked to comment and deny the rumours and refused to do so which I guess adds fuel to the fire.

Nobody official, just a mate. Doesn't normally talk about rumours but said he'd heard and wondered if I'd heard anything.

how reliable do you think this information/mate of yours is?
Appreciate you're just relaying what you've heard and aren't saying it's anything concrete.

No reason for the Brentford owner to sell, either.

Don't know tbf. Like I say, he's never really been one of those sort of 'in the know rumour guys so I've never heard anything he's said come true or not. He does have a lot of acquaintances and crosses paths with a lot of people day to day at work. Maybe this one that he heard just stuck and felt like he had to pass this one on.
Was that just because he was excited? Or because he trusted the person he heard from? I don't know. I'm seeing him up the game today so will try and dig a little deeper.

It's not something I see coming true personally, but if it does, it'd be like all my birthdays, Christmases and blow jobs all in one go!

I try to avoid having blow-jobs at Christmas, cos I'm always dressed as Santa and it's a bit off-putting for the kids.

I thought he couldn't post on forums until the season started as he wouldn't know anything about the new players? Almost like thats some BS he came up with to excuse the fact he only ever posted about Wasps on here.

Don't know how much all of this centres from one source
I heard tonight something significant but unspecific is due to be announced in October

If there were to be any truth in this whatsoever, why would Wasps be having a gigantic, brand new scoreboard installed in September?

Because they're not paying for it. And IF anything, it'll only add to the resale value of the Ricoh.

Hopefully because he feels our pain and sympathises with our plight and also wants to merge insects.

The way I read it was the company who are making the screen are paying for it.
