So a few posts about budget and signings on here of late. We have proven we can survive this league on a shoe string, however teams such as Stoke, Bristol City, Blackburn and any team not promoted from the play offs are going to have huge wage bills that won't be sustainable after the pandemic. I reckon when they all offload in the summer we could pick up some younger gems at a really reduced rate. We have a real advantage in that we are used to being skint, big wake up call for others in the league next season. (And knowing the efl, points deductions)

Agree. Much rather be a small, well organised outfit than a huge whopping debt machine working outside of our constraints.

Bristol City and Stoke do have the advantage of having benefactors. It's more whether their businesses hold up or not.

Those teams you have mentioned are not much better then us why would we want there dross?
Any decent players they have young or old will be out of our meagre reach, we cant afford the wages they pay.

How did I know who wrote that. Compared to 91 other clubs we are very well placed financially.
