Signed him 5 months ago from an ECA scholarship. Never been attached to a professional club before but Fulham and Crystal Palace amongst others were interested.

Our number 8 , Betjemann is a pocket dynamo , always wanting the ball & using it effectively, but the boy to watch is our number 9 Toluwaloju , pace , strength , tall with good heading ability …..a star of the future , showing far more menace than our Simms I’m afraid !

Yeah, said the same to my son. I thought he really stood out, like Obikwu did. Kai Yearn is a great little player too. In fact, there were a good few who looked decent.

Wouldn't be hard to show more menace than Simms. In fact the only attribute Simms has in common with him is hight.

I went, when Joshua scored the announcer had some difficulty with the lads name, comedy moment or an amateur announcer, you decide.

PS It's a Yoruba heritage name.

Interesting that there was a Marshall on the bench.
Anybody know if it was Jay, who was just released from the U18s/not offered a pro contract.
Strange if so.

Keep an eye on George Shepherd. Only sixteen at the mo, and played for 60 minutes tonight. Has shown great promise with the u18s last season.

Yes Jay Marshall wasn’t given a pro contract but has been allowed to stay on with Coventry to help him get fit, this is after spending the majority of his previous 2 years out with serious knee injuries
