I’m not ITK but I know a guy who knows a guy who was related to a guy who went out with a girl who knew a guy that went past Ryton once and bumped into a guy who said AV was a bully. Make of that what you will

I’m not ITK but getting rid of Viveash would unsettle the squad far less than getting rid of Sheaf.

The original post didn’t ask a question about gender or race. It strongly implied that women in the workplace only get anywhere by using their sexuality and have no competence or conscience and management decisions are made based on their wishes and the upper management are in thrall to them.

In summary it was very sexist, so go fuck yourself you idiot.

Still not getting it, at no point did he say he thought it was right if it was the case or that if it happened it was right. He simply asked the question could it have been the case. Then everyone gets their knickers in a twist acting like a bunch of lemmings to hang the witch.

Stinks of thick woke virgins who have lost touch with reality.

Nice statement and no apparent barbed comments, which does him credit.

Interesting use of " it has been decided that my Coventry City journey has come to an end." Not "I have decided", so it would appear he was probably pushed.

Really nice guy, wish him all the best

It will be an agreed statement that doesn’t contravene a standard NDA.

Classy statement from Adi.
They key is issued through his solicitor.
Don't think we have heard the last of this.
Adi is 57. Will he retire or continue what has been a constant very, very successful coaching career.
Just as an aside (and certainly no indication of future performance), I gather Ghana were pretty shit with Boateng as assistant.

Think blaming Ghana being shit on Boateng is a stretch.

When we were struggling last season (Sept-Oct) I remember hearing Robins wanted to give the players a few days off, but Viveash wanted them in training harder. I presume MR got his way, and it worked as soon enough we started getting it together.
That might be an indicator that AV’s methods were not working as well. Obviously a brilliant coach. Some of our football over the last 7 years has been sensational. However, I do think back to that Luton play off final, where despite scoring a fine goal were pretty poor.
The horrid performances post Man U last season too.

Didn't blame him. Was surprised as I thought they had great players, but think many of them were some years ago.
I have an open mind about the new coaches and we will see. Past success is not always a guarantee of continuing success any more than poor performance in the past means a coach will be shit.

It seems like our plan is to expand the coaching side. So it will be more about a team rather than one.

Agreed, we needed more coaches for specifics but overall they have to be an improvement on the previous set up, as they are likely to cost more.
I'm really sad Adi left (or more likely was removed), as I felt he was at the heart of all that was good with us for the last 7 years.
Our success had not ground to a halt. We had finished higher every year except last year with a cup semi final. We simply didn't have the squad to get there and make the playoffs.
I desperately want us to succeed and really hope we have not made the wrong call.

Yes it would seem he did do a good job and at the time was the right fit for us. But perhaps it is time to have some fresh impetus.

Adi had been at Chelsea and appeared to have a good pedigree, but if he was that good why wasn't he poached by a Premier League Club? My take is he was a very good coach but he is not the only coach out there and maybe we can do better or at least make the department as a whole better.
