Why? It was a really poor spectacle, all three of the quarters so far have been pretty dreadful

Villa fans giving it the big one beating a team costing a fraction of their premier league team.
let’s see how good they are against PSG
BBC struggling to fill out the post match analysis
Dion Dublin Mr Villa, loved him when he played for Cov and a great player but will never be forgiven for refusing to play his last game.

Brighton - Forest was fucking awful. If that is showcasing the delights of the Premier League then I'm lost for words.

The Championship is a hundred times more exciting than the insipid top division.

Why any Sky Blue wouldn't want Preston to beat Villa is a mystery to me.
But then again, some roasters wanted Leicester to win the league so what do I know?

Wasn't bothered it was Villa but wanted PNE to win so they could represent the Championship, like we did last year. It's good for football.

‘Premier’ is a misnomer; moneybags shite would suit it better, dreadfully hyped competition.

I think the Club tried to sell him to Blackburn. But Dublin wanted to stay and refused as he was settled in the local area. Asked his agent to find him somewhere more local as the club didn't want him anymore. But the club still wanted him to go to Blackburn as they'd offer 250k more.

That sort of thing happened a lot around that time. Huckerby turned up to training one day and was told to drive to Leeds for a medical.

They weren’t giving it the big one last year when Stevenage, bloody Stevenage beat them in their own back yard!

Generally, the Prem is only interesting if you’re chasing the title, Europe or survival. Anything in between is meh.

Despite that, I still want us to get up there.

Really don't know why anyone was bothered by Leicester winning the Premier League, it was probably the most interesting season in Premier League history. Since its inception it's been won by Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and there was that one win for Liverpool. Blackburn's title was 30 seasons ago.
