Transfer at that level take time, as some others have said it was Romano acting as his agents spokescunt that annoyedAround the Gyokeres transfer, it wasn’t the protracted negotiations that were annoying. It was the daily bullshit click bait fest by journalists and newspapers that was the real ball ache. Also the fact needy fans got sucked into such farcical reportage.
I know that, what annoys is the pathetic media shit show, side show. The daily churn of journalistic (and that is a big comlement) bullshit.Transfer at that level take time, as some others have said it was Romano acting as his agents spokescunt that annoyed

Wow, never saw that coming!
Almost enough to pay for someone as good as GrimesView attachment 44832
It seems that our share is 3.75 million Euros, which is about £3.25 million. I think we owe Brighton 10% of what we get, so we will end up with just under £3 million. It’s a nice sum but hardly a fortune.
I hope we spend it wisely
We have 4Under Arteta, Arsenal have signed 6 goalkeepers, but just 2 forwards. I mean genuinely wtf is going on with that guy?
If he ever comes back to the CBS, the sound of simps clapping from Singers Corner will create a sonic boom audible from spaceIf we ever see him at the CBS I’m pretty sure he’ll be appreciative of what we as a club and fanbase did for him.
We've actually got 7We have 4

Big shoes to fill (Eddie Nketiah)Love that hes taken the 14 shirt as well. Shows where his confidence is right now.
Still confused as to whether we have paid Brighton their current before or not? I’m guessing not though? Whilst I reckon this amount falls short of our desired amount, I also presume that the club quite rightly did not budget for receiving this money this summer ?View attachment 44832

Probably just stopping the other cogs turning dependant on this deal tbf. This is a good read on why this deal was done and perhaps why it took some time:
Inside Viktor Gyokeres’ transfer to Arsenal: Tough negotiating, Berta’s role and why Sesko interest cooled
After months of speculation, the club have agreed a €63.5m fixed fee with a further €10m in add-ons for Sporting CP's free-scoring strikerwww.nytimes.com
I’m a hypocrite here because I’m annoyed that this thread is still open after the deal has gone through. However I’ve not seen it mentioned about future income, so I’ll add to it!
Media stuff is often bollocks, but let’s take it at face value. The deal has 4 separate €2.5m add ons on top of the initial fee.
For argument’s sake, let’s say three of those are hit. We are surely due an extra €750k.
Of that, Brighton would take €75k. Regardless, for a club our size, this is not insignificant money.
I’ve heard people on here talking about £1m here or there like it’s nothing. However as a tight-fisted fan who worries about our future when we are paying rent to play in our own stadium, this is still very important money.
If fucking Chris Wood can score 20 Premier League goals currently then I am sure Viktor will do finehope he does well but think he’ll struggle,
Good pointIf fucking Chris Wood can score 20 Premier League goals currently then I am sure Viktor will do fine
He scored against Silva's Fulham home and away!
