I would hate it if he signed for the murderers though even if it was the best fee

They have been favourites with the bookies all summer strangely considering I've not really seen any credible link with them and Viktor.

Tbf the links to Wirtz and Frimpong only happened about 3 minutes before they announced, seems Liverpool are going about things stealthy

Presuming you’re talking about Liverpool if so I think he’d probably be a good fit, could really see him flourishing there tbh.

Think Liverpool are still after Isak, Vik doesn't fit the age range of player they've been recruiting.

Seems like our Vik is being used by everyone as pawn to force hands elsewhere. Arsenal after Sesko & Liverpool after Isak.

How annoying has Romano become now btw. He tweets the same regurgitated shite every day to basically say nothing has changed. Team Ornstein all the way

Yep that's my reading. Both have other preferred targets and are making noises to push those into action.

I have a feeling he'll end up at Man United. His age makes the price tag less appealing. United have fewer options. Just feels like the right fit to me.

Personally I think Arsenal should definitely go for him, he's at coming into his peak years and they are crying out for a top level striker to slot into their team.

Vik is one year older than Isak I think.

True, 1 year 3 months is less than I thought.

Isak is proven in the league so will be a top target. Would imagine Newcastle will want stupid money for him

So this is how I would like to see it play out...

Issak goes to Liverpool then Newcastle go for Vik.
I think he'd be a great fit up there and the Geordies would love him. Proper center forward ala Shearer (although not as good in the air)...

Not saying this will happen but it's an interesting scenario.

Said the exact same thing on this thread back in May, think he’d do well up there.

Liverpool have spent £216 million so far this summer they've just signed another one, Bournemouth player, Giorgi Mamardashvili, can't see them spending 60million on Viktor Gyokeres.

Me too, can't stand Liverpool for nothing more than the fact that for some reason all the biggest dickheads I've met through life, school, uni, work etc. have been Liverpool fans. Not a single one had a connection to the city.

Seems to attract utter twats as fans

I don't think Liverpool are struggling for money though. Didn't spend much last season. Their squad needs freshening up a bit. I could see them being interested.

In terms of transfer fees received, by the time the window ends I would imagine they would've brought in well over £100m

Good luck Vik wherever you end up be it elsewhere in UK, Italy, Germany or Spain. Please don't go to Man United though.
Liverpool would be very interesting option and could be a great choice for him.
