He'll end up at United, they will sign Cunha, Mbuemo and Vik and neglect the rest of the rebuild. 3 players trying to take up the same positions. Written in the stars

Cunha and Mbeumo are more attacking midfielders tho, not pure 9s / CFs like Vik, they're clearly gonna try and bin Hojlund off so Vik can play that role, but I don't see him going to a team without UCL football next season, but who knows money talks

It does, but aren’t Man Utd meant to be skint?

That's why they're trying to get rid of Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Hojlund & co to free up their wage bill

Vik likes to drift from the left though doesn't he? Similar to Cunha. To be fair I thought Mbuemo did as well but his heat map says he sticks more to the right. Could work I guess.

Thats what I think Man U would do if they got him as they play 3-4-2-1 like Sporting, Vik as the 9 who will drift left, Mbuemo as the AMR and Cunha as the AML

I saw Paul Scholes say on the overlap he didn't do that well when he played us. It's worrying how clueless these so called experts are when it's not to do with the premier league.

Scholes is an awful pundit.

Interesting. Maybe not that surprising. Arsenal seem to be keen on sesko, do PSG even need him?

It'll be weird cheering him on if that's his final destination.

United ruin every player that goes there. Bad move for him but biggest payday likely as they are stupid with their money

I really want Vik to do well at his next club.

Will make it extremely difficult for me if he joins Man U as I am desperate for them to continue being shit.

Neither do I but they’ll drive up the cost I’d imagine.

I don’t think he will go there Amorim already in dodgy ground - they make a habit of burning strikers !

I just can't understand why he'd choose United.

No European football
No title chances in the foreseeable future
Club with a record of ruining good strikers
Poor squad
Failing manager under pressure already
Laughing stock outside of their own fanbase

It can't be for money, as he'd get the same or more elsewhere. I do hope he isn't thinking he can go there and turn them around. It won't happen.

United always pay a premium and this has increased as they have become less successful. They can’t offer guaranteed success so they offer more money ..

Can/will they offer that money anymore? Cloth is being cut there. And anyway any of the big european clubs could match the salary and offer much better prospects.

The only plausible I can see is that he knows he'll have a manager who will believe in him and give him time.

Don't necessarily disagree but you asked why he'd go to Utd.

He's got a good relationship with Amorim so it's not out of the realms of possibility. Despite no European football, he'd be playing in a better league as well.

FWIW, I don't think he'll go to Utd.
