Also MV needs to look at unattached list too.

Have to say though, they're usually unattached for a reason.

What's the last one that worked? Moussa?

Yeah i agree but at least you can quote one that did work! MV has admitted that for 20 games we haven't been able to score and he needs to "sort it out". Doing nothing won't sort it.

Whilst we can disagree on the merits of Martin - personally still think he is a good solid defender - I would guess most would still rather have him in the squad than not. Poor decision by TM.

Agreed-An extra body at centre back would indeed be welcome at the moment.

But is that really a reason to have him?

We have sufficient back up with Cian Harris and Martin really is no better than Willis or Turnbill.

A shame Ricketts had to retire. (Although he also no better than 1st choice but experience alone worth it)

Venus' role is starting to look like a dictatorship in a weird kind of way.

He's a big slice of the blame for everything wrong at the moment. I think he needs to leave the club to be honest.

As I said our views differ, so for me it wouldn't be just an "extra body". He would be a real alternative to Willis who is pretty inconsistent and Harries who should still be in the development squad and only played in early rounds of cup competitions as far as I am concerned.

Martin is/was pretty crap, looking at what we've ended up instead of him then in hindsight we should have kept him.

But my opinion, the mistake was not letting Martin go it was the poor recruitment at centre back.

A club that has its house in order should have enough cover that players like Harries can be sent out on loan to get some proper first team experience
