Just woke up and seen we’d signed him and said to my missus fuck yes, we signed that player, the really good one!

Her response was… the handjob one?
Me… yes babe, the handjob one

I think Eccles is going to have a strong season for us. Looked more confident as last season progressed.

Exciting times to be a Cov fan - who would have thought it just a few years ago.

And the best thing is; it feels like we’re not even close to being done.

Arguing who was better Kane (genuinely a horrendous footballer) or Dabo (never the same post injury) feels a lifetime ago!

Could play there but I think MR sees him as RCB

I don’t think we need another rwb

Two strikers, two centre backs and a CM and I’m very very happy with this window. Maybe an AM at a push depending on how far Allen and O’Hare are off.

Both Sakamoto and Latibeaudiere will end up getting game time at WB. There’s a real need for players to be adept at multiple positions.

Depending on our needs in-game.

To start the season, McFadz will start and the onus will be on the new signings to dislodge him. I’m thinking a Lati - Thomas - Binks trio as things stand.

We’ve got lots of flexibility which is key

we need 2 cb and a striker as a minimum

then ideally another centre midfielder/10 and another striker

Agreed. If we’re looking at Nick Powell it’s clear we’ve got tabs on a midfielder or two.

I would be happy with Obikwa as 4th striker as long as the other striker would replace Godden as number 2

For someone who has a lot of hype around him, he seems really grounded and modest too - he mentioned his aim was to get into the starting XI.

Talented and with a great attitude - fans favourite written all over it.

Never thought this would actually happen, but then I thought Simms was almost as unlikely.

Got to admit I'm getting excited for the new season, and I'm sure our transfers aren't over yet. Another couple of CB's and s ST I reckon, with maybe a couple of loans as well.
