Looks like they are all expecting s loss and some real sad faces on their forum.
it also looks like their manager will go for a 0-0 away from home with 11 players behind the ball so we need to start finding a way to break teams like this down

A lot of teams are going to start doing it so we need to find a way.

We need to go straight and them and take an early chance and then keep going forward as we did against Gillingham rather than trying to sit back on one goal.

But when we went in front on Saturday, we forced them to come and attack and looked the worst team.

We took our foot off rather than going at them again trying to piss around with it at the back

We need to sort out our last pass, it's been hopeless the last few weeks. No team will come here and play like Gillibgham, they will get ripped to shreds. Gillingham were incredibly naive that game.

Having two weak fullbacks in Phillips and Haynes and a makeshift centre back certainly didn't help. Even though Stokes aquitted himself quite well, he most certainly doesn't have the presence of Turner or Reda does he.

We had a very weak back line on Saturday. If it's a similar scenario this weekend I think TM might well be inclined to really go for a very, very attacking line-up.

We need the pace in the side. The sideways Sammy experiment didn't work.Murphy to start and Lameries to start,no Cole or Bigi please, far too slow lameries deserves to get a run in the team? Back to our strengths.

Agree with that. As good as we were first half, Gillingham were terrible, sole of the worst defending I've seen all season. They were far too open.

We need to start battering teams. Going into the final 10 minutes 1-0 up isn't enough. We have thrown many silly points away this season.

But not only that, we've also fluffed some gilt edged chances too.

Twice on Saturday square balls from either Kent or Armstrong would have probably resulted in goals.

Armstrong missed a great chance against Sheff Utd. too.

Hopefully, fingers crossed for no further injuries, we'll be back to peak strength against Vale. Of course they're going to pack the midfield, stifle the attack and try and pinch a goal, it's inevitable.

However, we should see a return to the attacking strategy that has served us well. No point grabbing a goal and sitting on it, it's inviting a mishap.

Let's be positive, let's be pragmatic, but if we don't smash them I'll be surprised.

I think this will be our little dip. we're getting players like maddison, cole , fleck, back to 100%. Come through January (still winning games and not dropping massive amounts kf points) without loosing anyone and then bringing in a dominate centre half and possibly a strike partner for armstrong. Then i can see us push on again and claim that top spot.

Kent I feel is one touch away from becoming a player thats waaaayyy above this level. He getting exactly what he needs here tho and thats game time. He's only like 18 or 19 remember.

Joe Cole - i dont know what to think anymore. looks a bit fitter than what he did at the start of the season. But i was expecting more from him like most were. Usefull for set peices. Experienced head. Need to either get him signed in a contract or let him go. Cant have players missing out because of loan player limit

Phillips is a bit of weak link. Had a close look at him saturday in the first half as i was sat virtually front row down by the lino and he gets by. Be interesting to see what this new signings like.

Go up this season and we have some seriously good games to look forward to. Villa, blues, derby, forest, wolves, mk dons.....chelsea

Just hope they bring more fans than Oldham, that was embarrassing and did not help the atmosphere.
