If we were in a WW2 style situation then yes I would, my skill set as I’ve said before would likely be in cyber or comms, but yes if it came to me picking up a rifle and doing basic training I would because frankly if we’re down to the 40 year old obese asthmatics shit has gone sideways badly.
I think there is a benefit in defending democracy in Europe. But again: I don’t think the war would even have started had we (as “the west”) had a commitment to support the likes of Ukraine.
I think throwing other people to the dogs in the hopes they leave us alone is the definition of cowardice TBH.

And again: Indont think it would be us, as I said I don’t think we count as a major military power any more, it would be the US. But the idea that we should let Russia do what it likes with any country that’s not in NATO isn’t right. The same arguments would apply to NATO countries as well. Why draw the line there? Because you know he wouldn’t attack a NATO country, which is exactly why I want us to accept these peace proposals of a security guarantee: because it would prevent war.
