Sorry, just to clarify my stance.
I'm clearly pro Ukraine, but that view has been garnered through doing my own research rather than dismissing what others have to say. I admit to dismissing the unpalatable crap that comes out of the Russian Propaganda machine.
I look for a degree of balance in reading about this conflict. Just because I read up on the Russian view does not make me complicit. Far from it, I'm hoping I'm better informed than those who insist they are right without actually finding out about it first. They may well be correct of course.
I hope you look at the reasons for the conflict and interrogate what information all sides are putting out to their citizens.
To me, it's blindingly obvious that Russia needs stopping. Am I parroting propaganda? Nah, I think I am reasonably well informed in being able to say that categorically rather than simply believe everything I see/ hear. You may have also noted that many of my posts leave it for you to decide the truth.... So again, I am not parroting propaganda?
Other posts such as my view that we cannot currently have a no-fly zone are due to my listening to the views of those who know and making my own mind up.
There is stuff out there that you can access. I am not espousing the Russian pretext for going in.
There are documentaries concerning the Russian Ukrainian genocide and their take on the overthrowing of the government in 2014 Quoted as 14000 people killed in the conflict prior to this current war. Better the devil you know.
What is more concerning for me is the way many Russian people refuse to believe what is happening now. Brain washed.
