Having just spent 15 very uncomfortable minutes watching it, I’m shocked RT hasn’t been taken off air here. Wow.

It's bloody outrageous that, the partisan propaganda of a war criminal blaring into our lounges. Take it off the air!

Didn't say that, not even close they should fight, my point is both army's are innocent just doing what they're told, not like the Russian army folks decided to invade alone.

i think if you’ve voluntarily joined the Russian army you know it’s not just going to be a bit of orienteering in the Siberian Forests

They still have national service. You have to do at least 12 months in the Russian army by the time you’re 28 if you’re a Russian male.

It's 2022, people join the army just because they can't get another job.

Some of the scenes coming out of Poland are heart warming. The government are doing loads but ordinary people are turning up in huge numbers to welcome them with basically everything including cars if they’re travelling on to be with family elsewhere, money, food, accommodation, basically everything.

Its not whataboutism if you finally call out sometjing that keeps happening .

He's right though , as stated earlier , leaders of the UK, USA and other major powers are standing on the dead bodies of millions in the middle East pointing at Russia and saying .. look how bad you are

It's amazing how we are conditioned as a species

The USA could invade a middle Eastern country tomorrow morning and face ZERO sanctions and have nowhere near the amount of anger thrown at them ... is the point ..

It's correct, neither are right ofcourse

It's hard to know what is true and what isn't, and as pretty much everyone is on the side of Ukraine, most of the news seems to be positive in that favour.

Of course we all want them to victor against the Russians, but I really hope we don’t see Kyiv taken in the next two weeks with everyone acting like they weren't expecting it to happen because they were spreading incorrect news.

It feels a bit like the Russians are being written off a bit too easily at the moment, and it worries me what is coming next.

It seems fair to say their invasion hasn’t gone as smoothly as they wanted, it’s also fair to say Putin can throw a lot more at it than he has so far.

It’s difficult to know what to believe but the fact that this isn’t over already is a big loss for Russia. There seems to be a consensus that if Ukraine can hold out for 2 weeks it’s over for Russia so there’s a long way to go.

He can throw a lot more men at it yes but the issue at the moment seems to be supplies and logistics, that's where they're struggling. They expected to have Kiev within 72 hours

Apparently this conflict is costing Russia $20billion a day. Just goes to show the importance of financial restrictions and sanctions. I know that Russia has claimed to have costed sanctions in but it’s also pretty clear they believe that they’d breeze in so have they costed in the $20billion a day in past the first couple of days.

Looking at the overnight reports Russian soldiers are having to resort to looting as there’s no food coming to them on supply chains.

I agree, reality is if you want confirmed info it really needs to be coming from verified sources.

There was this story all over social media last couples days of some Ukrainian 'ace' who shot down 6 russian jets in one day, which given aircraft armament limitations is basically impossible... Sure enough was debunked not long after as videos prove fake.

Generally trying to not get to wrapped up in this for my own mental health, but I met up with an African friend this morning who asked me about my thoughts, then quickly told me the 'African' perspective in that they were all on Russia's side (I was more than a bit taken aback) Basically, as his own country is being economically 'raped' by France and the US have historically dabbled / interfered in Africa, he is of the opinion that Putin is doing the right thing. i am a good friend of the bloke, so shifted the conversation to CBS pitch invaders, after having gently probed the logic of Putin's actions (without much joy). Thought it was a combination of alarming/interesting hearing a somewhat alien viewpoint.
