Heard earlier that the Ukrainian government has set up a hotline to Russian parents and loved ones so they can find out if they’re son, husband, brother etc has been killed or captured allowing captured soldiers to talk to their families by phone also. A human touch and great tool for getting the truth to families in Russia and then the wider public seeing as Russian state TV has gone full comical Ali and claiming that there is no casualties on the Russian side and it’s all going to plan.

Hard to see where the compromise lies.Of course the problem is Putin doesn't exactly strike you as the type to admit a mistake and give up. Probably the best case scenario is it brings Russia back to the table for some behind the scenes negotiations which result in some concession Putin can declare a win back home. But would that be enough for Putin?
