Putin finally admits the state funded Wagner - having denied it previously. So when he talks about other countries military help in Ukraine the obvious question remains about the Wagner involvement in 8-10 countries in Africa,Latin America and Asia - propping up various undemocratic regimes.

Tbf I'm not entirely convinced he cares about whether he looks like a hypocrite.

By that weird logic you could read Grenners and Boosh's posts and say that they are representative of all online Cov fans.

Sparks and Matt Smith are far far worse. Give me nukes over the equivalent of being locked in a room with Trump's speeches on a loop any day.

You'd be lost without Grendel, you need him in the same way Johnson needs Putin

I think we've agreed on most things throughout this war, I just think it's odd that you think a mercenary group of criminals, old men and vagrants would have any loyalty to anyone other than who will pay them the most.

They'd gladly stab Prigozhin in the back for personal gain. These people would fuck their own mother over to benefit themselves!

I'm pretty sure him and Putin staged it - probably to weed people out.

Probably because they don't want to die

They can either go to Belarus or they can join the Russian army and get sent to the meat grinder

Wagner still recruiting despite mutiny, BBC finds

The BBC called more than a dozen Russian recruitment centres and was told it's business as usual.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head there. Mission Ukraine is over, their commander and chief (Putin, it always was, let’s face it) has reassigned them to operation keep Belarus under my control through a Vichy regime.

Because ceiling heights in new builds are so ridiculously low in this country, even though we're getting taller as a population.

Has there been any indication about how the counter-offence is going? I still maintain that it’s a war that neither side is likely to actually win.

Ukraine have took more ground in 2 weeks than Russia has in 12 months, slow and steady, Russia still losing much much more gear since it’s still probing mostly, look at deepstatemap it’s a few days behind due to opsec but it’s all visually confirmed movements.

The big difference between this offensive and last year’s offensive is that Russia has had time to dig in. Apparently they’ve laid a mass of minefields and are far better defensively set up than last year as they were on the offensive and got blindsided by the dogged determination of the Ukrainians. Ukraine is clearly taking back ground, especially where Wagner was on the offensive. I get the feeling that Putin used Wagner purely to buy the Russian army time behind Wagner lines to dig in for a long offensive. What happens this summer I fear is going to be the blueprint for the rest of the war.
