Maybe that's Putins aim. That would prevent Ukraine joining NATO if he thinks that's their agenda

Ukraine joining Nato wasn't on before this though. He's just a power crazed fascist c**t who has lost the plot

You keep saying “bit of a nightmare” - I hate to tell you but this is a football forum which has morons regarding politics who disagree with me like UKIP Tony, David “special brew” O day, the ever so earnest and ever so stupid PVA, the utter hopeless child who pretends he’s a teacher Ian and others who literally have the gravitas of losers in the first round of a 6th form debating society

The politics aspect of this forum misjudges the wider view of the country every single time. It’s just a bunch of sad bitter losers who well at election time just lose

Keep carry on losing

That’s a lovely speech, and I’m sure you felt great typing it all out. Your mates down the pub would surely pat you on the back for it, if only they existed.

You’re still wrong on Ukraine btw.

Put the weirdo on ignore. He's a ad lonely man who can only feel wanted if people react to him.

It's a weird flex but I guess geezers need excitement

So I actually read the 3 statements that the Stop the War Coalition have made - something no doubt you wont have bothered with prior to your sensationalist post.

The statements consistently condemn the actions of Russia - something I’m sure you agree with
The statements call for negotiation and a peaceful resolution - something I’m sure you would want even if you don’t agree with their idea of how to do it.
I’m guessing your gripe (if you bothered to read it) is their critique of NATO and British/Western foreign policy. There is some validity in these comments, but in my opinion this was not the right time or platform to do it.

Interestingly 'let them get on with it' wasn't polled, and Tories are more likely to want harsher sanctions

Why are they? I disagree with them, but traitors? Really? Cowards? I thought we were a democracy and therefore I respect their right to hold this view, but I don't agree with it and it seems Labour will do something about their stance.

I don't see what the problem is.

Public servants whose views you don't agree with are "Cowards and traitors"?

I used to think you were bright.

I was obviously wrong. Shame.

His support is solid if not spectacular.
State controlled media. His time on the KGB means he knows how to control internal dissent. High profile opponents tend to end up in prison.
Any large protest will be clamped down probably under some kind of martial law.
Energy income has strengthened the economy but wealth hasn't really filtered down.
Think a lot of it comes down to a long time obsession with "loss of empire" rather than any perceived sense of threat from other countries.

im so glad you and SBT are in agreement. The intellectual gravitas of the pair of you makes me so humble and just so grateful I am even allowed to have an opinion against the aligned intellectual views of yourselves

it’s amazing. Can you please form a triumvirate with David and then genuinely I will just cower down and accept my humble place in society

It seems like Labour’s grudge is the critique of British foreign policy. Maybe it didn’t play out well in the focus groups.

If there are any adults Left on the forum Putin is deranged. It’s nothing to do with Brexit or as Mr Corbyn thinks NATO aggression any more than it is to do with Russia losing in the ice skating at the winter Olympics

He’s insane and he wants his day and sixth form debating arguments on a
football forum are of little consequence

I think everyone on here despite their faux bravado are grateful they are not mr Johnson tonight
