From what I have heard he's home sick, didn't settle to well and wants to be back in Scotland, heard Dunfermline are very interested in him so I am guessing that will be his destination.... Also Maybe he wanted to vote on the 14th September....

@ Hobo.........Why is it being melodramatic? What it is, is fact. It's a given, that managers make mistakes with signings, but SP is making much more than his fair share of "Mistakes" Slager, Seabourne, Urquhart, Manset, to name but a few? If the truth be known, Baker is being "Frozen out" not because of ability, or age, but because of wages, nothing more. His "Bomb Squad" from last year could, and should have been handled better. This year, Murphy stated he wanted to stay at Coventry and take a wage cut, was "Let Walk" by SP. Why? I'm beginning to think he's having his strings pulled.

We need to let go of this Baker thing, there is no conspiracy. Towards the end of last season Pressley stopped picking him (because he's rubbish) and at the end of the season he was informed by the manager he was no longer required. Most likely because a) again he's rubbish, and b) we have no place in our team for natural wingers if Pressley is going to carry on playing the way we are currently. Baker is a good guy; he did a lot of good work for the community and he came over well on radio and social media but it's the right time to move him on.

Pressley has form for speaking out about owners from his time in Scotland, if he was having his 'strings pulled' as you suggest he'd go public and may have walked by now. He does however have to improve his signing, they've been poor and he admitted as much at the fans forum.

I have said before, I really can't work out if it is Pressleys signings or Waggotts? A lot of the signings last year were definitely bodies and having a punt rather than quality. Pressleys has gone on record that he thinks our scouting system is inadequate.

i think it is melodramatic for people to read too much into Urquhart cancelling a contract. He was bought as a promising player and one for the future....worth a gamble in other words.

i think you are right, Pressley is working to a very tight budget, so expect wheeling and dealing. The Murphy situation, we should have kept him. The Bomb Squad about time we had a manager with a ruthless streak.

Early days for Pressley, so I am prepared to see what happens over the next two seasons (as things stand at the moment). I would like top 12 this year top 6 next year to show progression.
