i think you've misunderstood the OP. its not about loosing games, its about the shitty situation our wonderful owners have put us in. i struggle to see how anyone is gloating.

Since when did quoting attendance figures become "loving losing"?

Yes, I prepared the data over the weekend & I had this in mind since Jim Brown posted his article (I linked in OP) in the Cov Telegraph, just had to add todays crowd this evening, it was actually about 3-400 higher than I expected it would be.

When I thought of doing this I had expected that after 10 games at Sixfields his published top 10 would all be pushed out by Sixfields games, but there is one old game still in the top 10.

Or perhaps its because the 3rd lowest ever league attendance has just been announced, despite a healthy away following?

There's a programme on BBC2 right now about the cold war, yet even on that there's less paranoia than on here.

about the reasons for the thread being started.

they are stats, no more no less. if you don't like the facts take it up with the people who are holding our club for ransom, sh1tsu. at the end of the day the buck stops with them. they may try to blag us that its everyone else's fault but theirs, but we aint idiots we all know that isn't really the truth however much some hate other parties.

The trigger was the 10th game at Sixfields, it was a reassessment of Jim Brown's stats. I had nothing to do with the result, I've made no comment on that or the team because I haven't seen them.

I want shot of SISU, I make no apologies for that.

Just as the results start to turn, it's interesting how the 'come and join us' attitude of the jolly sixfields fans is turning too.

I can see why people are interested as to why you posted this after we lost 3-0 jack. You definitely could have worked out the attendance before the game! LOLS

Well you were either having a go at the OP, grendel (unlikely), ccfc92 (nope), or cloughie (nope)...or was it just a random snipe that was completely unrelated to this thread ?

Jack , no idea why people are pussy footing around on this.

SISU are a complete disaster for Coventry City. Anyone who cannot see that needs some fasttrack education in economics and social history.

Its complete madness to take a product away from it natural customer base and alienate them with no obvious replacement. We could also get onto to social impact and the negative effect that is having on a city and other people who may live elsewhere.

There is a time when new governments even stop blaming the previous one. Well SISU have been in charge for 6 years. They have taken the club to its lowest level for 50 years and created lowest ever attendances and alienated the vast majority of their fans. Its a terrible record and can only be blamed on themselves.

OP posts data-it cannot be argued. Data is the thing all too often missing from this forum (I'm guilty)- but it is an opinion based media outlet-thats the way it is.
Some rip him apart, some with reason, some quite disgracefully such that posts have had to be edited. The timing of the original post was poor- unless there was an ulterior motive it could be argued?
None of it matters- we lost 3-0, one swallow doesn't make a summer- nor do 2 defeat's herald a blizzard.
We still don't play in Coventry-quite shamefully.

The JR review on Thursday(?) will establish next steps- or an extension to our collective anguish... nobody wants us to lose guys..nobody.

Night all.

...and ACL/CCC

being serious for a moment, i completely agree. its no different to Sunderland fans blaming us for their premiership relegation. facts don't lie, simple.
