Conor Thomas spent the night in hospital after his head injury and Callum Wilson will see a specialist today...
Coventry City midfielder Conor Thomas was kept in overnight at Rotherham General Hospital as a precautionary measure.

Thomas sustained a serious head injury during the final stages of the 3-1 win over Rotherham United at the New York Stadium.

He was sent straight to hospital after the game, suffering a severe concussion and underwent scans which revealed no fracture to his cheekbone.

Thomas traveled home this morning and is making a good recovery. The club will continue to monitor his situation over the coming days.

City striker Callum Wilson will travel to Manchester today to see a specialist and undergo scans on his shoulder injury.

Once the club has assessed the results of the scan, we will update you further.

Both players will miss Saturday's trip to Oakwell to face Barnsley in the FA Cup third round.

Kind of what we expected ... Callum out for a while, lets hope its not as bad as we all think it is right now ... and Conor just to miss the FAC ... so that's not so bad either.

He's dislocated his shoulder before hasn't he in a pre season match? Or am I getting him mixed up with McPake?
