@BBCcovsport: ...TM says it's in the balance over @JohnsonReda. Talks have begun & Johnson is desperate to start training & hopes its with them

@BBCcovsport: ...Mowbray has held several conversations with Sam Ricketts, who he describes as a very good human being as well a good footballer

@BBCcovsport: ....The @Coventry_City boss also says he's been in talks with Reading over re-signing @DominicSamuel9. Hear from Mowbray in our sport at 1

I'd be delighted with Samuel back for the year in particular.

Mowbray out. It is the 3rd of July and we don't have a team good enough to win by 20 clear points still.

A fully fit Samuels in a better team would be brill. i believe, sometime ago he, Michael Jacobs and that Haris Vuckic from Newcastle were all names given to me as top targets , none have gone anywhere yet as far as i know. Does sound if perhaps the recruitment campaign is ratcheting up a little, lets hope so.

The squad would look a hell of a lot stronger should these 3 put pen to paper for the forthcoming season.

The defense would be complete aside from between the sticks, another winger, CM and 2 more strikers.

Sadly, I can only imagine us getting 1 from 3 at best probably Ricketts.

Good to see Reda is desperate to start training with us.

Samuels would be a 20+ goal scorer easily next season for us.

I went on the local papers website for Reading and voted no on the poll, 'should Samuel be given a chance next season'.
So if we do sign him it's because of me.

Clark has said Samuels will get his chance this season at Reading and will be part of the squad.

In fact I'd go as far to say how disgusting it is we haven't made any progress up the league table since May.

Because he will surely get a run in the Reading squad or if not would expect him to goon loan to a lower end championship club.

Blokes already too good for L1.

The way Mowbray has gone public about Ricketts suggests to me this deal is very very close.

If Reda can't wait to start training why doesn't he just join in?

Maybe Reda doesn't join in training in case he picks up an injury. There could be insurance implications. Maybe Webster, knowing he was leaving has arranged private personal insurance.

Let's hope Reda signs and that TM helps turn him in to a more consistent performer that can be a rock at the back for us this season. We know he has the potential!

Because he is after more money. Afc is rather naive to believe that Johnson is desperate to train with us. It's all about the money.

Webster just wants to keep his fitness levels up, while he waits for Pressley to get fixed up with another job

Gideon should be at the top of everyone's list. It's a shame the thick working class tories helped re-elect him.

All managers say that sort of thing. He might be a little behind fitness wise so could miss out unless he gets off to a pre season flyer. Reading probably won't want him going on loan to another club in the Championship. I think we stand a good chance of getting him on a six month loan. After that who knows?

Ha ha...yep, that chinless etonian fop is on it alright....

...but as you can imagine Wingy.....its a very long list indeed!

I won't start ranting now as the sun is shining, its Friday afternoon & I've only got the most important job of the week left to do in the workshop....assemble my sons shiny new bike.

Happy Friday folks!
