However, Doyle who seemed/seems to be the cement both on and off the pitch may have been unsettled by being dropped. You would hope, though, that he is savvy enough to know that at some point he would be dropped and his role in the team/club would change (though it might take him a time to get his head round that).

Take away the lacklustre performance against Luton with a better lines man or linesman sighted the other side we could of had a 2-2 draw.
