With Sir Alex Ferguson's friendship and tutorship of Steven Pressley, this could open some doors for us as far as loan deals and cheap transfers go. Reece Brown was a one off, he was truely awful, but most United youngsters are top quality, so this could be really good for us

I wonder if Alex Ferguson was asked whether the conversation actually took place, what his response would be.......

Will Keane was all set to go to Boro on loan this season til he got a big injury. I think he broke his leg but i could be wrong., My point is he will have to start a couple of steps down the ladder, so maybe we could get him on loan next season. He's highly rated and seeing as we have contacts at United now, it could happen

Speaking with Falkirk fans, albeit via twitter, they suggest he uses kids where he can. I replied that this is how we operated last season........and look how that finished

I'd argue Thomas, Christie, Clarke and Bigi were amongst our best performers in our relegation year. Other, more senior players simply didn't step up, stand up; Clingan, Hussey, McSheffrey, Nimely (didn't score), Cody, Platt, Cranie (somewhat) and Deegan (I'm sure there's more who can be added to that list).

Have to agree with u their mate. For me the only senior players that performed was Keogh, cranie (i think he did well under the circumstances), and juke, while he was here. The rest were utter let downs.

It says a lt when Bigi has made about 10 appearances for Newcastle, clearly he's a good player, and tbh, I'm really frustrated not to see CT in the starting line-up, he's such a good talent, typical box-to-box midfielder, and he has the technicality to excell massively at CCFC.
