Representatives from ACL today tied a rope to Jimmy Hills arm and despite the objectiions from the largely conservative crowd were able to get enough speed on the stolen council gritter to claim back their statue.

It was discussed at the match yesterday when we walked past the statue....I never PS'd it a mate at the match did it. We laughed all the way in at the concept though.

My mate works at the club and everyone (at least in his area) is moving everything out to Ryton. I think it's mainly so that they can argue they just will be using the stadium for matches, but th initial thought on hearing it was "Run for the hills and take everything you can carry"

It wouldn't surprise me if Jimmy got melted down for scrap though.
