Great hit, but - p*ssing about with short passes at the back when the pitch isn't suitable for that. Looking like a Southgate performance (again) You just know we are going to be on the back foot, despite our 'star' players. Anybody seen TAA etc ?

It’s a brilliant strike but it’s come from our sole striker scuffing a pass in his own defensive third.

I do not understand why we’re asking Kane to drop so deep, it’s mental. Not even like there’s runners off as Bellingham is deep, Foden is anonymous and Sako is playing without support.

Hjulmand, Eriksen and Hjoberg have all the room in the world because Trent has zero awareness and doesn’t know what his role is outside of play 5 yard passes and 60 yard passes.

Being serious, has anybody noticed TAA having a positive effect on this, Stick Bowen, Gallagher on - someone who can wrestle back midfield from them.

I really want Southgate to succeed. For all his negative tactics he’s enhanced the reputation of English football again and given us the most exciting (in terms of progression) tournaments in my lifetime.

But the system, tactics and player selection are just so off.

Denmark play like a team who all know each other and know their roles. We play like a team who gets by on vibes and hope a Bellingham/Saka/Kane will bail us out.
