Playing out from the back is fine if done at a decent pace and the ball is transitioned up the pitch at pace. What I can’t stand is the arseing around, attempting these lofty crosses over your own penalty area and getting punished.Do you see how Switzerland stretch their positioning in defense.
Always been one to wonder if playing out from the back is actually worth doing instead of just lobbing the ball up the pitch.
Switzerland's playing out from back is good. They use an awful lot of space on the pitch.
