Why do we no longer book blatant diving? Plus, even if the ref had been fooled by it and given a penalty then VAR is always going to overturn it so what exactly is the point?

The 'wonderful' Kante has had about 5 shots, all of which have been kicked at the goalkeeper at snails pace.

With that and the Ronaldo free kicks it's almost parody. Not surprised in the slightest that a game involving Portugal would be edging towards penalties from minute one.
