It’s as much about tempo as it is about pressing. At the risk of sounding childish, football now has been made boring and slow by people trying to emulate Guardiola. Watching teams play at pace, not be afraid to shoot once in a while and so on is a great breath of fresh air.

I can understand the lesser teams being more cautious. I do not understand at all why England are doing it to this extent when they have strengths all over the pitch except the centre of defence.

Got Slovenian family (closest being my Uncle) so I’ve been there a good few times - it’s an amazing place, Lake Bled is a favourite.

I’ve collected a good few Slovenia tops on my travels and I’ve been sporting one all day - unsurprisingly no body noticed!

My cousin is currently the only Slovene watching in a bar in France but sounds like the locals are favouring Slovenia so he’s having a great time!

If they win this the place will go mental today, Schnapps everywhere.
