I'm convinced he deserves a chance. Knowing the great lengths our recruitment team go to he's at least earned that.
I hope he proved me wrong, and am happy to give him a chance like I gave Kastaneer a chance, but from his brief appearances he appears to lack the pace needed for this level and therefore I think he will struggle.Every city fan loves to have someone to root against each year. We love to see a player fail because we've made our minds up early doors.
I think one of either Jobello or Hilßner (or both) coming good will be vital for us this season.
That Robins quote about Hilßner does make it sound like it’s a question of ability rather than fitness. Though “how we use him” is a funny one, surely we knew what sort of player he was and how we could use him?
Difficult to know context from the quote, "how we use him" could just mean now that he's coming back to fitness do we use him for a few minutes off the bench initially etc.
