Some senior players don't want to risk injury in U23 games if they've been told they can go in the next window
It might scupper their chances of getting another club
So they just go through the motions
No doubt if that's been happening the U23 manager will have the final decision on who he picks for the team
The rest of the young players get pissed off with team mates who don't pull their weight

Satchwell is an old fashioned left winger - unlikely to be playing centre mid
