Has the striker even had a touch?

Going to be lucky if we get away with a 4-0 drubbing the way things stand.

Just have to accept we are not in the same league i think. Certainly have to chage it for sure.

We beat Turkey, but were hanging on for the last 10 mins and we were dull against Ukraine. France beat Turkey 5 nil.

Definitely need to shake it up to have any chance.

At least Bayliss will be back ready for the start of the season

It was always going to be tough for this U19 team when they announced the squad. Not the same quality in midfield or defence as previous teams and lacking international experience. Dujon is almost certainly the best player in the team and most experienced.

In 1990 we were decidely second best against Belgium and fluked a goal with the very last kick of extra time.

We were losing to Cameroon with 15 minutes to go and went through in extra time only after we won two penalties.

We played really well in 1990 in only two games - Holland and West Germany. We won neither.

Apparently most of the big Premier League teams wouldn't release their players for this

What's the point in them taking bayliss? Hasn't had a sniff of getting on the pitch and is actually a first team player for us.

He is missing pre season with us and sat watching there.

Why not just use the ones in the reserves?

Our final ball is shocking. France stroke it around and all our play is forced and we seem to have very little control of the ball when in poseesion.

It's the same as the seniors. Nothing at all going forward

Our defence is on a death wish today, after being so solid last time out.

Game over.

Have been shocking every game I have seen at the back. Trying to pass it around needlessly.

Hopefully he puts bayliss on to make wasting his and our time.

The manager, Keith Downing, surely has to go after this?

That was a great goal there. Shame it was offside.

It's as if the manager has buggered off and isn't watching the game.

Probably not, but it doesn't take away that it was a quality goal.

The silver lining is that we will now get Sterling and Bayliss back 10 days before the season starts.

Same as the Hunt/Carr donkey kick then and Beckham scoring from the halfway line, or Barnes dribbling past the Brazilian defence, or Houchen's diving header.

The question is now, is Bayliss capable of bagging 6 goals in 6 minutes?

Bayliss made a difference then going forward, cool on the ball and every pass went where it was meant to.

Still another game to play so we won't get them back just yet!
